Many of us are now being directed to self-quarantine through the likes of social distancing and state lockdowns. This emphasis is on preventative measures and heavily focused on physically minimising the chances of exposure of the public to the coronavirus.

It's important to consider that there are 'additional' preventative actions, that take the focus of prevention away from the virus and bring the focus back to health, and in this article, we attempt to explain what some of these are.

Jason Gilbert Explains

So what should you focus on?

Boosting your body's natural immune system to help prevent any virus from latching onto a host cell within the body is a great practice of general health. This can be done by simply adding the correct vitamins and minerals to your daily intake.

Reducing the amount of inflammation that is put into the body is another effective method. By switching out certain foods during the day, you can lower inflammation, allowing your body to allocate the correct resources to defend itself.
